About OpenForge

OpenForge was born in Berlin in 2025 out of a simple frustration: every time we wanted to build a weekend project — a robot car, an LED display, a plotter arm — we spent more time researching components, comparing prices, and waiting for parts to arrive than actually building.

We make pre-made project bundles that take the guesswork out of getting started. Each bundle includes:

• Every component you need, with verified part numbers and sources
• Step-by-step build guides written by makers, not algorithms
• Schematics, wiring diagrams, and tested code
• Curated tool recommendations so you don't need a 200€ multimeter to start

Why bundles?

Because every maker we know has, at some point, ordered the wrong resistor value, soldered a polarity-sensitive component backwards, or spent three hours debugging code only to realize a wire was loose. Bundles let us share the lessons we learned the hard way — so you can get to the fun part faster.
